Hello Kimberly, I believe that many people on social media have a hard time differentiating what is considered good or bad. I believe this is due to the ability to insult others from behind a keyboard. It was interesting how you were suggested to make a personal, private account to share opinions. Although I am sure there are many downfalls of a private account it is better than ruining individuals own reputations.
Hi Kimberly, I agree that it is important to respect other people’s opinions. Even though their opinion might be different than yours, it does not mean it is wrong. I think Donald Trump was a great example of a person who does not respect people’s opinions or respect others at all. The tweet that you showed with Trump calling someone a loser was a perfect example for this project. Good job!
Kimberly, I liked your example of the misuse of social media through Donalds Trump. Although we all have our own opinions about him, he definitely needs to be setting a better example as The President of The United States on social media. All celebrities and politicians should be extra responsible when using sites such as Twitter.
Kimberly, I think your definition of social media etiquette was impressive, I liked how you included how it is important to consider what is right and wrong. Your example of Donald Trump was relevant and insightful.
I think Donald Trumps twitter is the worst thing on this planet. It is crazy how he gets away with the things he posts. I like all of your examples a lot and I believe that as a president especially he should have proper social media etiquette. The fact that our president called someone a total loser on social media is insane. You are right he should not post in anger, no one should.
Hi, I really like the person you chose because I do believe that the way he posts on social media is completely inappropriate especially since he is the president. It's one thing for some celebrity to post inappropriate things, but for the leader of our country to do it is just a disgrace. I think you did an excellent job on your presentation! Do you think that Trump will ever change the way that he communicates through social media?
Hey Kimberly, When I read about what we had to do for this project I knew immediately that somebody was going to choose Trump. Anybody who has a social media account knows how verbal he is on twitter. I thought that you had some good ideas on how he could have made up to the public any offensive tweets he tweeted.
I think Donald Trump on twitter is funny and I'm glad that you used this for an example. When I say funny I don't mean that I like his tweets I just mean to say that it is comical that he, along with everyone else who was chosen as a subject for this assignment, is a man who is supposed to be well educated and in the public eye. We are college students and whether or not we did this specific project I'd like to think we all know how bad it can be to put things on the internet so how do these people who have everything to lose not learn?
Hey Kimberly! What a perfect choice of someone to analyze for this project! I knew someone would have picked him quickly as his tweets have gotten him into fire in the past! Do you think it is appropriate as the President of the United States for him to be using Twitter as much as he does?
Kimberly, It's crazy to think that the President of the United States is constantly criticizing people on twitter. This is a great choice obviously because we haven't seen behavior like this from any world leader ever. Thanks for sharing this presentation!
Hi Kimberly, I applaud you for taking such a figure that causes a lot of conflict between people. Whether the person supports him or despises him, it is no surprise to say that he may have the worst social media etiquette. His twitter's tweets are constantly driven with a negative connotation towards a certain individual or entity and also posts in a very reckless manner. I thought this was a great post and good advice to anyone with similar social media antics.
Hello Kimberly, I like how you stated the importance of respect. Respect needs to go both ways but unfortunately sometimes it's only one sided or there is just no respect at all. A lot of the content that Donald Trump puts on Twitter is distasteful, especially as POTUS. Using a platform that large should be used to be encouraging and uplifting, which is not the case here.
Hey Kimberly! I really liked your presentation, it was a good overview of this figure. Donald Trump and his social media posts have caused controversy since before his presidency began. I thought it was awesome that you selected him to focus on for this presentation as there are many possible items to talk about. Overall great presentation!
Hi Kimberly, I really enjoyed your presentation. It is very important to respect others because one will only gain respect if they have respect for others. Donald Trump is a great example for this topic.Being president doesn't mean he should post anything as he likes on social media.
Hi Kimberly, Your definition of social media etiquette is on point. Knowing good from bad on as well as respecting others and their opinions is key to have good etiquette. Donald Trump always posts very disrespectful, rude things on Twitter and especially as a president, he clearly has a negative image. With 59.2 million followers and being the leader of our country, he should watch what he posts and respect everyone. You did a great job!
